Construction Update
The marina expansion is anticipated to open in Spring 2028.
Ongoing Work
The Bear Lake Marina has now been fully enclosed and dewatered. Crews are actively excavating the marina interior to increase depth and improve boat access during low water conditions. Construction and shaping of the interior dike slopes is also underway.
Looking Ahead
Once interior earthwork is complete, crews will begin construction of the new boat ramp. Following completion of the ramp, the enclosed marina area will be reopened to allow water back into the marina. This phase of work is anticipated to occur later this fall.

Boaters: Please continue to stay outside the designated buoy lines near the construction zone and exercise caution while on the water.

Motorists: Use extra care when driving near the construction site, especially when entering or exiting the marina parking lot. Reduced speeds are strongly encouraged.

Drivers and recreationists, please be aware of construction activities in Logan Canyon. For information about their schedule and possible delays, visit udotinput.utah.gov/logancanyonfiber.

WELCOME
The Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management, in partnership with the Utah Department of Natural Resources, has begun construction of an expansion to the Bear Lake marina. The new marina is anticipated to have additional boat slips, launch ramps, and an increase in depth. Additional depictions of the expansion will be posted on the project site as they become available. Questions and comments are welcome and can be submitted here.
